New SaaS LVC Training Schedule
Oracle University now offers a set of regularly scheduled, strategic courses across the Oracle Cloud applications portfolio that anyone can take. These courses are available on a consistent basis in our Live Virtual Class (LVC) format, which offers real time training with an instructor over the Internet. This reliable schedule makes it easy and convenient for you to plan your training.
The new public course schedule consists of three types of training:
- Release Update Series
- Project Team Series
- Configuration Series
Release Update Series
Each quarter Oracle Cloud Applications deliver a new set of features. This means every three months you’ll receive new functionality to help you efficiently and effectively manage your business. This also means you always have something new to learn. So whether you’re in the middle of an implementation or already using Oracle Cloud applications, understanding how these features impact your business processes is essential to ensuring a successful and seamless update.
Our Release Update Series is designed to keep you current with your applications, including:
- New feature overviews
- Business benefits
- Implementation considerations
Release update courses are delivered as half day seminars with demonstrations of the latest features. Here’s a sample of new course titles in the Release Update Series:
- Oracle HCM Cloud: Updates for 20A
- Oracle ERP Cloud: ERP Update 20A
- Oracle CX Sales Cloud: Sales & Service Update 20A
- Oracle SCM Cloud: SCM Update 20A
Project Team Series
Courses in this category are designed to be kickoff courses for implementation team members, system administrators, managers, and business analysts. Learners will examine the activities and best practices for a successful deployment. These courses are 1 to 2 days in length, and they are delivered in a seminar format. The topics covered include:
- Key implementation decision points
- Effectively working with a Systems Integrator
- Key business process flows
- Navigation overview
- Working effectively with your systems integrator

- Oracle HCM Cloud: Core HR Project Team Training
- Oracle Financials Cloud: Receivables & Collections Project Team Training
- Oracle CX Sales and Service Cloud: Project Team Training

Configuration Series
The configuration courses are designed to help implementation team members learn how to implement and configure Oracle Cloud applications. Learners will build an understanding of the application and explore configuration options to help ensure a smooth and successful implementation. Having a strong understanding of the configuration options will help you make improved decisions during your implementation, and help you optimize the configuration to best meet your organization’s needs.
These courses are lecture based with interactive instruction and demonstrations, as well as hands-on activities that provide experience setting up vaious aspects of the application. They range from 1 to 3 days long, and cover topics such as:
- Product overview
- Product features and functionality
- Implementing and configuring the application
- Setup and maintenance tasks
- Using the application
